A dog stud service is when two breeders agree to lend a specific male dog, to breed it with a female dog. Our dad dogs are both purebred toy poodles, and one is a Blue Merle Toy Poodle. All stud services start at $2,000 (to approved females).
When working with our breeding company with our dog stud services, we make sure to have clear expectations and terms will be clearly stated in a contract. If you have any specific questions, feel free to reach out in our contact form!
WE HAVE 3 OPTIONS FOR OUR STUD SERVICES:
The first option is we provide in-house artificial insemination. When your dog is in heat, please contact us and make sure to track the first time you notice the first sight of blood. From there, it is a small window where your dog can get pregnant.
We would then ask you to bring your dog to our farm to test her progesterone levels and see when it is the right time to inseminate her. The testing is quick and easy. It will give us a clear picture of
the right time to impregnate the dam. After that, you would bring your dam back for an AI (artificial insemination).
The second option is noticing when your dog is in heat, and after the first few days have passed, you have the option to leave her at our farm with us to perform 2-3 AI every other day or 2 days (depending on
levels of progesterone) to make sure she gets pregnant. We have successfully performed this many times!
The third option is when we ship the stud semen to you. We will overnight the package so it will be fresh and chilled. You can then provide the sample to your vet, and they can perform the AI.
Our stud's semen has been successfully used during Artificial Insemination and produced litters as large as 13 puppies.
We have also shipped semen all over the U.S.
The Pricing for Our Dog Stud Services
Our stud service fee starts at $2,000 to approved females. If you choose to have a collection kit sent to you, shipping will be an additional $375.

WHAT IS PROGESTERONE TESTING?
It will show when the dam has high levels of hormones.
Progesterone testing determines when a female dog ovulates and thus when she is ready to breed. A reproductive hormone, progesterone increases in the bloodstream just before ovulation.
